Meet Dr. Magdi Hanafi, MD
DR Magdi Hanafi Has joined the medical Staff at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital on August 1979. He was elected by his peer colleague gynecologists at the hospital for two consecutive two years terms as a Chief of the gynecology Department ended on December 2018. Dr Hanafi is one of the first surgeons at Saint Joseph’s Hospital to perform Robotic Laparoscopic surgery in gynecological surgery in 2006. Like Myomectomy, Endometriosis lesions in the ovary’s excision and repairs. He was the first surgeon to perform Robotic Tubal Reversal and Innovated Hanafi’s Annuler Umbilical incision for removal of larger fibroid tumors through a small umbilical incision.
